A vital abstraction
I met Michelle Hold in Moleto, a village in the Monferrato region where she resides and paints. Michelle conceived ArtMoleto, an international art project that focuses on the fragility of nature. In 2023, I became involved and exhibited some of my works. I captured this series of photographs in 2017 within her studio.

Michelle Hold’s paintings are inspired by natural facts and events. Her work embraces the sounds and noises of silence in a spiritual dialogue, and speaks of a vital abstraction, a synthesis and expression of her inner world and personality.
